How To Collaborate with the Center

The NCBO welcomes expressions of interest from qualified investigators. Successful collaborative projects engage the personnel and resources of the National Center for Biomedical Ontology  to develop new tools and technologies that enable biomedical science, and demonstrate true synergy with the Center’s activities, such that the Center and the collaborating group both benefit from the interaction.

Collaborating Through a Driving Biological Project

The Center is not currently accepting applications for new driving biological projects. Please check back.

In general, Driving Biological Projects (DBPs) collaborate broadly with the Center's activities and help stimulate new creative ideas and applications for its technology. Projects are selected for their scientific merit in answering important biomedical questions and advancing their disciplines. Learn more about our current DBPs.

Other Collaborations

Our Center seeks a variety of collaborations both with academia and industry. To explore explore other potential avenues of collaboration, including becomming a visiting scholar, please contact one of the members of the Center, or the Center’s Principal Investigator, Mark Musen.
